Covid 19 update 18th March 2020
To all our lovely guests,
In light of the current situation we are all in, I thought I would update you how things stand at the moment.
✅ Currently our Pods and Cottage remain OPEN - this situation may change dependent on government advice.
✅ Although Gavin and I will be nearby in the house and available should you need to contact us by phone, the reception building will be closed and we will be operating a self check - in system to maintain the government's recommendation of social distancing.
✅ We are in a fairly remote, beautiful location, surrounded by 13 acres of farmland, pasture and moorland so there is no need to come into contact with anyone you don’t want to and there is lots of fresh air, gorgeous walks, and stunning views to lift your spirits
✅ We will be continuing with the strict hygiene protocols and cleanliness that we have always had in place. In addition all door handles, taps, surfaces etc are being sanitised in between guests and regularly in the communal buildings and there is plenty of hot water, soap and paper towels available for everyone’s regular hand washing.
✅ Conscious that we need to support each other we have temporarily relaxed our cancellation policies for all bookings arriving until 30th June 2020 allowing guests to rebook at a later date without losing any deposits.
❌ If you are feeling unwell including cough/cold symptoms or showing any symptoms of Covid-19 (new persistent cough, high temperature or breathing difficulties) please contact me to reschedule your stay.
Stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you back to The Nest soon
