You will definitely need to book a bit ahead for dinner! Its very popular and rightly so ; http://www.wheatsheafegton.com (3.7 miles) cosy roaring fire in the bar and exceptional food in the restaurant. Sunday lunch is a real treat too. Partridge Nest Cottage is close to the famous Coast to Coast walk and Cleveland way as well as plenty more footpaths and trails through the National Park. What could be more revitalizing than a bracing walk in stunning countryside, a pub or two enroute, followed by a snuggly evening on the sofa, in front of the crackling log burner with friends, family and four legged friend?
