Terms and Conditions of Booking

Coronavirus booking guarantee

For bookings made after May 15th 2020 the following applies

  • A low deposit of just 20% to secure your booking
  • Balance not due until 10 days before your holiday, in case of late changes to government Coronavirus guidance
  • Complete flexibility to move bookings for up to 12 months (from the original date of booking) in the event of Coronavirus restrictions
  • Due to low deposit and late balance payment, no refunds are offered.

Admission
If you develop symptoms such as fever, new continuous cough or loss of sense of taste or smell you must stay at home, self isolate and get a test.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception and providing photo ID. 

JUST ONE PERSON PER BOOKING TO ENTER RECEPTION TO SIGN IN AND COLLECT KEY

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians and must be supervised at all times to ensure social distancing.

Arrivals and departures
This is a very small site, run by a small team of two so arrival (check in) is strictly from 3pm to 7pm.

Late arrivals must notify the campsite/park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Departure by 10am.

No refunds for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Changes to your holiday
Bookings cannot be amended within 14 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs
Sorry no pets are allowed. Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

Extras
Our pods are priced per night for 2 people. There is an additional charge of £10 per night per person over the age of 36 months.

A motorbike can be brought instead of the car included.

Additional vehicle: £2.00 per vehicle per night, payable on arrival. Please advise the site in advance of your intention to add an additional vehicle to your stay.

General

Please leave your camping pod clean.

All damages must be paid for.
Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.
Cooking, candles, gas lamps, naked flames inside the pods are not permitted.
Guests are asked to avoid any noise or nuisance that may disturb other clients.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to the reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to our attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
Total silence must be respected between 11pm and 7am.

Hired accommodation
Smoking in the accommodation units is strictly forbidden.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy, a fine of £25 will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Occupancy
REMINDER: Governement advice is that a limit of 2 households (or support bubbles) can meet up outside to socialise or a max of 6 people from mixed house holds (maintaining social distance)  

Each pod has a maximum occupancy of up to 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 3 children

Group bookings of 3 or more units are not permitted (maximum of 2 pods may be booked by one group)

Group bookings of 9 or more people are not permitted.
No hen/stag parties permitted.
Occupancy cannot exceed the number stated on the booking form.
Single-sex bookings of (excluding same sex couples) 5 or more adults are not permitted.

Pitches
No tents, awnings, pup tents or gazebos to be pitched next to pods or in the pod area

Dirty water, rubbish and any waste must be disposed of in the indicated areas.

We encourage recycling - the planet is in your hands!

Please be considerate of the natural surroundings, plants and trees. It is forbidden to put nails/tent pegs in trees and to cut any branches.
Please keep your pitch and the facilities tidy and clean.

The establishment is not liable for any damages to guests’ equipment.

Sewage waste

Our sewerage system is a soakaway septic tank so nothing but pee, poo and toilet paper is to be flushed down the toilets.

There is no facility for the emptying of chemical toilets

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground, not on the grass and attended by an adult at all times.
Children must be supervised by their parents at all times.
Fire extinguishers and first aid kits are available on site.
Open fires are prohibited, apart from the communal camp fire, and any electric appliances used on site must not be faulty.

Vehicles
No cars by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
No vehicle movement between 11.30pm and 7am.
The speed limit is 5mph.

Visitors
Visitors are not permitted on site without prior discussion with the management.

Arrival between 3pm and 7pm
Departure by 10am

Covid 19 

We have followed all government and industry guidelines to mitigate the risks, to staff and guests, associated with transmission but the guest accepts that there is always a level of risk in using public/shared facilities and the responsibility for keeping social distance and maintaining personal hygiene guidelines (thorough and regular handwashing) is the guest's own.

If you show any signs of having the virus during your stay then you must immediately go and get tested by contacting

The result must be shown to us. If positive, you will need to leave if any Member of your party can drive you. If that is not possible and you have to self-isolate here, then you will be have to pay for all bookings that have to be cancelled as a result.

Bookings cannot be amended within 14 day(s) of arrival.
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.

Payment

A 30% non-refundable deposit secures your booking. The balance will be due 2 weeks before your stay or you may opt to pay in full at time of booking.
