WHITBY TOWN OPEN-TOP BUS TOUR

Buy an all day ticket to see our beautiful seaside town from a birds eye view. The fully-guided Whitby tour takes approximately one hour but tickets last all day and you can get on and off the sightseeing tour as many times as you wish. The open top bus service runs daily from March to November. You can even book the open top bus for your exclusive use!

CAPTAIN COOK MEMORIAL MUSEUM

The 'Cook Museum' is in the 17th century house on the harbourside at Whitby where the young James Cook came to serve his apprenticeship.
The Museum celebrates Cook's achievements, and exhibits ship models and maps, original letters in Cook’s own hand and much authentic
material from the eighteenth century artifacts from the Voyages, paintings and prints by the artists who sailed with him.

WHITBY ABBEY

Whitby Abbey with it's gaunt, imposing remains, recently named Britain’s most romantic ruin is set high on a cliff above the Yorkshire seaside town of Whitby.
